OUR PRESENCE
Our subsidiaries represent five established automotive brands in Malaysia (Daihatsu, Hino, Perodua, Volvo and Volkswagen), providing a holistic set of services that cover both initial vehicle sale and a range of after-sales services across 46 branches nationwide.
As of 2021, the total number of vehicles sold across the Group averaged 4.5% of Malaysia’s Total Industry Volume (TIV). This represents a significant market share, and has been achieved by building a sizeable presence in all segments of the automotive market – from heavy-duty trucks to luxury passenger vehicles.
OUR STRATEGIC APPROACH
The continued growth of our motor trading division is driven by our ‘multi-brand approach’, whereby we pursue opportunities in a variety of segments of the commercial vehicle and passenger car market. This strategic approach has enabled us to build a larger market share within the overall automotive industry space while enhancing cost efficiencies through economies of scale.
Customer service is another key area of our focus. Our investments in after-sales service, parts and accessories, and digital sales channels, allow us to access additional streams of income while driving customer retention and loyalty through excellent service standards.
